Instructions for Authors

These documents are available at http://andrew.triumf.ca/tlinux/ via http and at
ftp://andrew.triumf.ca/pub/up via ftp. Ftp uploads are allowed from inside TRIUMF. Web authoring tools such as Netscape Composer can select this as a publishing location, or a regular ftp may be used.

Procedure:

Go to topics.html. Check out a topic, or add one (edit topics.html and re-publish it using ftp).
Get template.html
Get a document, create or edit it, and (re)publish it

Please use the style sheet style.css, linked from the template. This way, if we decide on a green background or sans-serif headers, it can be done in one place.

The idea is not so much a rehash of "how to install RedHat from CD" or "how to configure X11", but rather how to configure Linux for TRIUMF, in terms of networking, recommended software etc.
