tinymail is a CGI webmail application
designed for mobile devices such as cellphones and PDAs. It uses the
University of Washintom IMAP server, available at
ftp.cac.washington.edu/imap.
Problems with these devices include
Small screen size
Heavy usage charges (Rogers Wireless I believe charges 10c/kbyte if no data plan)
Limited keyboard
Limited bandwidth
Built-in mail application assumes light use and wants to download everything
Tinymail is currently beta software. Please send feedback. It has received only limited testing to date (Mozilla/Firefox
and Nokia 6820 on Rogers)
