Currently the Sony projector is controlled via an infrared remote; see
image below. The projector has warm-up and cool-down cycles; the lamp does
not light straight away on switch-on and the fan is initially on high (noisy).
This is normal. Please switch off when not in use; the lamps are expensive.
A green light on the unit indicates "on", a red one indicates "standby".
